Chocolate Mousse

One package silken tofu (Clearspring) at room temperature 
100g good-quality dark chocolate, melted (Lindt or Green & Blacks 90% cocoa solids)
2 tbsp maple syrup (any 100% pure maple syrup from health shop or supermarket)
1 tsp freshly-grated orange zest
1 tsp orange extract (Steenbergs Organic Orange Extract)


1. Melt the chocolate in a bain marie and combine all the ingredients in a food blender/Nutri Bullet. Serve with orange zest.

This chocolate mousse is quite amazing in that there is no cream, eggs or sugar. It’s made with just a few simple ingredients and is good for you at the same time!

 

The silken tofu provides phytoestrogens which have subtle hormone balancing properties.
